Foreign Exchange Students in the College
About 100 foreign exchange students from such countries as China, Malaysia, Korea, and the Middle East are enrolled in the College of Engineering. By holding friendship exchange events, we are able to deepen mutual understanding. Japanese students also serve as tutors and provide guidance for studies and living. The university also provides a dormitory to foreign exchange students. The international dormitory is about a 15 minute walk from the college.
Academic Exchange Agreements
The College of Engineering, Ibaraki University, has concluded academic agreements with University of Alabama (USA), Chungbuk National University(Korea), Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology(Poland)、XiNULLan Jiaotong University(China), and Wuhan University of Science and Technology(China). The College has exchanged many students and researchers with them.
